Medau

Medau Movement is an approach to exercise that aims to bring about whole body natural movement. Emphasis is placed to using the body correctly, as posture and alignment are seen as vital in the maintenance of good health. Medau aims to improve awareness of the importance of the body's structure, and help to rectify imbalances through movement.

A Medau class should be challenging, enjoyable and fun, with varying types of music being played to complement the exercises being used. As well as whole body awareness being improved, Medau can also help to reduce stress levels. The exercises and movements used in a class are suitable for a wide age range.

Standards of teacher training are high, and all teachers will qualify with a Further and Adult Education Teachers Cert, and a Medau Society Teachers Award.
