Balancing Blood Sugar

One of the most important health protocols I recommend is stabilising blood sugar. What do I mean by this? Well, if you have a sugary breakfast cereal, by eleven o'clock you might be feeling a lack of energy and eat some biscuits with a cup of tea or coffee. This has the desired effect - blood sugar soars, and you can carry on working. Then around midday that feeling of lack of energy starts again, so a sandwich comes out to push up the energy (and the blood sugar levels). 

The classic crash in blood sugar levels usually occurs around 3 to 4 o'clock in the afternoon, just when you need to stay awake and alert. This applies especially if you are a mother. Picking up the children after school and having no energy to take them to after-school activities is something most mothers would identify with. 

Over the years, this can lead to a pre-diabetic diagnosis and possibly onset of Type 2 Diabetes. 

A simple solution is to add cinnamon zeylanicum to your diet. Cinnamon zeylanicum contains the mineral Chromium, a superb "balancer of blood sugar".
